James Jarosinski and Yolie Aviles met in Maryland's oldest bar, Middleton Tavern in Annapolis, in 2014. They eloped to Jamaica in 2016 and then set about on a journey to visit the oldest taverns in all 50 states. By the end of June 2025 they visited 42 of those awesome taverns, plus the District of Columbia. Not only do they love visiting those historic watering holes, but they have a deep appreciation for the hundreds of interesting and distinctive corner bars and dives across America and beyond. James and Yolie, unique bar enthusiasts, are looking forward to sharing with you their experiences and tips as they crisscross the country on their noble quest.
